Privacy
We collect as little as we can.
North American Numbers is an informational atlas. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
- Search: the site search runs in your browser against a small built-in index. Typing an area code or place name does not send that query to us as a search request.
- Server logs: our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, page, timestamp, user agent) for security and to keep the site running. These are not used to profile you and are not sold.
- No accounts, no tracking profiles. We don't ask you to register, and we don't sell or share personal data.
- Email: if you email corrections, we use your message only to respond and to fix the issue.
- Links out: pages link to other sites (NumberResearch, CPUC, etc.) that have their own privacy practices.
If we add analytics or any third-party service in future, we'll update this page and say so. Questions: corrections@northamericannumbers.org.
